Kent Merritt, charter member of Eta Sigma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi and one of the first African Americans to sign a grant-in-aid to play football at the University of Virginia, discusses the social climate at UVA during the 1970s, the challenges involved in integrating the football team, and Black Greek life.
