
How Can I Ever Be Late, co-directed by Kevin Jerome Everson and Claudrena Harold, will screen at the International Film Festival Rotterdam on Jan. 25th and 27th. It will be a part of the Pan African Cinema Today program. How Can I Ever Be Late takes the tarmac arrival of the music group Sly and the Family Stone as a point of departure: African-American students at the University of Virginia greet the band at the Charlottesville airport in 1973.
