Pride, the latest film in the Black Fire series, will screen at the 10th annual Black Star Film Festival. Set in Charlottesville during the early 1990s, Pride follows an aspiring writer as she finalizes stories for the latest issue of Pride, a student-run newspaper at the University of Virginia that historically provided a space for critical engagement with issues affecting Black students on campus.
