Nothing in the Middle.

No words. No platitudinous statements.  No rehashing of decades-long demands.  No narcissistic declarations of the relevance of previous work to the contemporary moment. No book list. No syllabus.

Just profound pain and rage over the brutal murders of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd and so many others.    Circles of sorrow.  Unimaginable grief.  Not shocked but in shock.
